Embargoed goods and prohibited countries policy

Embargoed goods and prohibited countries policy overview

iOffer is committed to complying with US restrictions that regulate or ban all trade with certain countries. In accordance with Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, iOffer does not allow the sale of embargoed or restricted items from these countries.

Federal agencies also ban or regulate trade between people in the US and certain organizations, businesses, and individuals. iOffer does not allow those organizations, businesses, or individuals to use our website.

Prohibited countries

iOffer does not allow organizations, businesses, or individuals to register or maintain accounts while based in these countries:

Cuba

Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea)

Iran

Syria

Libya

Prohibited individuals

iOffer also does not allow organizations, businesses or individuals to register or maintain accounts if they are identified on the United States Specially Designated Nationals (SDNs) list.

Buying or selling certain embargoed items

Buying or selling certain items manufactured in restricted countries may also be prohibited, depending on the nature of the item, when it was manufactured, and when it left that specific country.

Sellers should regularly review current information about which countries may be affected by sanctions enforced by the OFAC. For more details about laws governing trade, visit the US Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control website.

We urge buyers and sellers to follow all government laws and regulations. The sale of embargoed items is prohibited by law and may cause harm to iOffer or its members.
